The South Georgia Technical College chapter of the National Technical Honor Society was established in 1991 for the purpose of promoting service, leadership, honesty, and skilled workmanship.

Students who excel in these areas may be nominated for membership by their instructors and enjoy the reward and prestige of participating in this honor society.
