It isn’t easy to tout a 4.0 GPA in a semester of college – but 109 South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) students did just that last semester, earning them a spot on the college's President’s List. SGTC President Dr. John Watford announced the list recently, releasing the names of the 109 students who were included.
The President’s List was established to recognize academic excellence in the SGTC student body. In order to be included on the list, a student must be enrolled in an associate degree or diploma program and have a 4.0 GPA for that semester’s coursework. Those included on the list feature students from 25 Georgia counties and four other states. The list includes:
