Back To School Bash Scheduled Friday in Downtown Americus

South Georgia Technical College and Georgia Southwestern State University students are encouraged to take part in the Welcome Back Bash in downtown Americus starting 5 p.m. which will include live music by Austin Plaine. Students will receive meal discounts, shopping discounts, enjoy live music, art demonstrations and more. Discount cards will be given to each student and can be picked up at the Americus Welcome Center, The Kinnebrew Company, Allie’s Boutique & More, Center Stage Market, and The Rylander Theatre beginning at 5 p.m. The Americus Street Trolley and Americus Express Bus will be transporting students from campus to downtown and back to campus. The first 100 students will also receive a free Welcome Back Bash t-shirt. A free concert at Rylander Park featuring Austin Plaine will begin at 8 p.m. Students are encouraged to come out and enjoy this event.
