Brandy Nipper of Cordele has been hired as a full-time nursing instructor for the South Georgia Technical College Crisp County Center. She joins long-time Crisp County nursing instructor Cathy Freeman in that department. Nipper will report to South Georgia Tech Dean of Enrollment Management Julie Partain.
“Adding another full-time nursing instructor at the Crisp County Center should definitely strengthen our nursing program,” said South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford. “We are very pleased that Brandy Nipper has joined the South Georgia Technical College nursing department as a full-time employee and we look forward to great things from these instructors and their students.” Nipper has been working as a registered nurse at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele since 2008. She has also worked as a Nurse Aid Instructor at South Georgia Technical College for seven years and for the past year has been working part-time as the South Georgia Technical College Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor.
She is a 2009 graduate of the South Georgia Technical College licensed practical nursing program. She earned an associate’s degree as a practical nurse from Darton College in 2013 and a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2018. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University.
As a licensed practical nursing instructor at South Georgia Technical College, Nipper will be performing teaching duties and demonstrate competencies, knowledge and skills in the SGTC Nursing program. She will also be responsible for evaluation of student performance, progress, and procedural competencies.
