Brianna Greenberg of Valdosta was hired as the new full-time Computer Information Systems and Networking Instructor for the South Georgia Technical College Crisp County Center effective immediately, announced South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford. She will report to South Georgia Technical College Vice President of Academic Affairs David Kuipers and the Dean of Enrollment Management Julie Partain.
Greenberg received an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Support and Networking from Wiregrass Technical College. She also has a B.S. in Information Technology with Networking concentration from Middle Georgia State University and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Information Technology at Middle Georgia State University.
She is certified in CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, and has an amateur radio extra class license. She has skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office 365 installation and accounts, managing user and computer accounts in Active Directory and technical training, troubleshooting and configuring hardware and software skills in addition to teaching.
Greenberg worked for the Echols County School District in Statenville, GA, as a Technology Specialist. She installed, configured, and inventoried technology equipment, updated and repaired hardware and software, researched and recommended technology purchases and trained teachers and student workers. She also worked as an IT Specialist for Chancy Drugs in Hahira, GA, managing and documenting networks for five stores. In addition to that experience, Greenberg worked as an Independent Contractor Networking Specialist for Cloud59 Networks in Lakeland, GA.
In her capacity as the full-time Computer Information Specialist instructor at the SGTC Crisp County Center, Greenberg will be responsible for performing all teaching duties and demonstrate competencies, knowledge and skills in the Computer Information Systems program. She will be responsible for evaluation of student performance, progress, and procedural competencies.
South Georgia Technical College is currently accepting students for Summer Semester. Classes begin May 25th.
