Brittany Rogers named Student Affairs Assistant at South Georgia Tech

     Brittany Rogers of Montezuma is joining South Georgia Technical College as a Student Affairs Assistant in the Student Affairs office, announced SGTC President Dr. John Watford recently.  Her office will be located on the Americus campus. She will report to SGTC Vice President of Student Affairs Eulish Kinchens and Admissions Director Candie Walters.

    Rogers is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Administration from Strayer University in Columbus, GA.  She has completed assessments in Basic Computer Skills: PC, Call Center Customer Service, and Customer Focus & Orientation.

   Prior to joining South Georgia Technical College, Rogers worked at Macon State Prison in Oglethorpe, GA, in Administration Support. She also worked as a Supply/Warehouse Clerk at Macon State Prison as well as in retail establishments in Macon County.

   As a Student Affairs Assistant at South Georgia Technical College, Rogers will be performing secretarial and clerical duties in support of the student services program and entering data from forms, records, and/or reports using BANNER software or onto appropriate websites.  She will also greet visitors and/or students and assist with special event planning.  She will also coordinate individual campus visits and assist with group tours as needed.  

   She is the daughter of Valerie Kendrick of Montezuma and she has a daughter, Serenity Rogers (3).
