I know his students will miss him as well,” added Dr. Watford.
“I began working as a part-time employee at South Georgia Tech in September 1995 and have met many employees over the years that helped mold me into the person I am today,” said Cobb when he reminisced about his years at South Georgia Tech. “I learned so much about working on a variety of trades while in maintenance and since becoming an instructor. I have always put the student first. I am thankful for the opportunities SGTC has given me and I look forward to my next career working with my son in the Heating and Air Conditioning business.”
One of Glynn Cobb’s students, David Bush, was selected as the South Georgia Tech Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) student for 2020 and represented the college at the GOAL Regional competition this year against the top students from other technical colleges in this region.
