Ke'Andrea Ray Named Student of Excellence at SGTC Crisp County Center

The Crisp County Center of South Georgia Technical College recently recognized Ke'Andrea Ray of Cordele as the September Student of Excellence. Ray, a Criminal Justice student, was nominated for the honor by her instructor, Wanda Bishop.

After being announced as the award recipient by Julie Partain, SGTC Dean of Enrollment Management, Ray was presented with a $50 check, an engraved personal plaque, a congratulatory letter from SGTC President Dr. John Watford and a “Student of Excellence” t-shirt.  Her name was also engraved on a perpetual plaque that is displayed in the front lobby of the Crisp County Center.

The nominees from the other programs included: Deontay Buckholts of Cordele, Computer Information Systems, nominated by Brianna Greenberg; Jer’Risha Hamilton of Lilly, Business Technology, nominated by Teresa Jolly; Princess King of Ashburn, Early Childhood Care and Education, nominated by Lisa Penton; and Haley Wade of Cordele, Marketing Management, nominated by Karen Bloodworth.
