The Parker’s Heating and Air Conditioning Company, Inc., made a donation to the South Georgia Technical College Foundation recently as part of its efforts to give back to the local community.
Dr. John Watford, President of South Georgia Technical College, accepted the donation of behalf of the SGTC Foundation.
“We appreciate the support that Parker’s Heating and Air Conditioning has shown South Georgia Technical College, and this donation is just one of the many ways in which Parker’s Heating and Air Conditioning and South Georgia Technical College have worked together to provide individuals, businesses and industries in our seven county service area as well as throughout Georgia, with excellent educational and career opportunities,” said SGTC President Dr. John Watford.
“Mr. Roy Parker was one of our first graduates and he and Mrs. Eliza Parker have been among our strongest supporters. We certainly miss him, but we appreciate the legacy and the partnership that he left between his family, his company and our college,” added President Watford.
Kevin Reeves of Parker’s Heating and Air Conditioning made the presentation and thanked South Georgia Technical College for its presence in the community and for supplying their business with a trained work force.
