The SGTC officials and students were provided the tour of the Thrush Aircraft Manufacturing facility by John McDonald, Thrush’s Assembly Operations Manager. Thrush is one of only two agriculture aircraft manufacturers in the world.
Wisham has placed nearly 20 different graduates at Thrush over the past five years. Raven Jackson, a recent graduate, along with Hezekiah Gilbert are two of the newest SGTC hires at Thrush. Second and third semester Aircraft Structural students Desmond Williams, Denver Lewis, Savannah Kendricks, and Blaker Kersey took part in the tour.
