South Georgia Technical College’s Crisp County Center’s Electrical System Technology instructor Mike Enfinger was nominated for and received the Golden Apple Award from the Crisp County School System. Jordan Gilliam of Cordele, a dual enrollment student in the Electrical System Technology program at South Georgia Tech, was the nominating student.
Crisp County High School’s high academic achieving graduates are allowed to award a Golden Apple to a current or former teacher, counselor, librarian, or administrator who has inspired them to succeed. As a dual enrollment student, Jordan Gilliam decided to give the Golden Apple Award to South Georgia Technical College’s Mike Enfinger.
“I chose to give my Golden Apple award to Mr. Enfinger. He has deeply impacted my career choice,” said Gilliam in his nomination submission. Gilliam also went on the thank Enfinger for his positive teaching and for giving him a clearer image of how to better understand the electrical field.
