South Georgia Technical College Practical Nursing Instructor Brandy Patrick recently treated her students to a self-care day with the theme of “Pajamas and Pampering”.
“We have been studying mental health,” Patrick said, “and we wanted to express how important it was for our nursing students to remember that they need to take care of themselves just as well as they take care of their patients.”
The day was themed as a pajama party, and the students enjoyed full facials with Mary Kay cosmetics representatives Barbara Little and Melissa Lawson.
Patrick said the day was a great success and a needed break from the rigors of school. “The students had a wonderful time and it was a needed treat for them.”
