SGTC hires Eden Edge as adjunct Nail Tech instructor for Crisp County Center

   Eden Edge of Cordele has been hired as an Adjunct Nail Tech Instructor for the South Georgia Technical College Crisp County Center, announced President Dr. John Watford recently.  SGTC will begin offering the Nail Tech Program on its Crisp County Center campus beginning May 25th.   She will report to SGTC Dean of Enrollment Management Julie Partain and SGTC Vice President for Academic Affairs David Kuipers.

   “We are pleased to have Eden Edge join South Georgia Technical College as an adjunct instructor,” said Dr. Watford.  “This will allow us to offer the Nail Technician Certificate program on the Crisp County Center campus beginning summer semester.”

   Edge is an experienced Master Cosmetologist, Hair Stylist/Nail Technician, and is the owner of The Edge Control Salon in Cordele. In addition to her Master Cosmetology Diploma, Edge also has a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus.  She is a graduate of Americus High School.  She is reigning “Miss Blue Revue” of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Organization and a member of the Georgia Jaycees.

   The SGTC Nail Tech program classes in Cordele will begin Wednesday, May 25th and continue through July 28th.  Three classes will be offered this summer including:  Introduction to Cosmetology Theory, Nail Care and Advanced Techniques and Salon Management.  The 19-hour certificate program can be completed in three semesters.  The last two semesters include the Natural Nail Practicum, Advanced Nail Practicum I and II.  Financial aid is available.
