SGTC Jets Win 86-76

The South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Jets improved their record to 6-6 on the season with a hard-fought victory December 17 over Florida Gateway College in the Hangar on the SGTC campus. In a back-and-forth game that featured seven lead changes, the Jets pulled away in the final minutes to win by a final score of 86-76.

Austin Hadden led the way for the Jets with 21 points in the game. Lamont Sanders was close behind with 20 points of his own. Justin Johnson also finished in double digits with 17 points.

Jairus Carroll added seven points, while Toriano Lewis and Tabais Long each contributed five points. Jalen Reynolds had four points on the night, and Jonathan Kanyanga had three. Brice Paster and Denari Garrett each added two points to aid in the victory.

The Jets return to action December 28-29 in the Jets Holiday Classic on the SGTC campus in Americus.
