SGTC officials tour Marvair plant with IDC board

South Georgia Technical College Director of Business and Industry Services for the Crisp County Center Michele McGowan participated in the Cordele-Crisp County Industrial Development Council Advisory Board meeting recently at Marvair in Cordele, GA. The meeting included a tour of the facility conducted by Paul Mechler, President. Marvair, a division of Airxcel(tm), Inc., is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and a diversified manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning products for telecommunication enclosures, school classrooms, commercial and industrial applications. Airxcel is comprised of six operating divisions, RV Products, Wichita, KS; Industrial Climate Engineering, Cordele, GA; Suburban, Dayton, TN; Marvair, Cordele, GA; Dicor, Elkhart, IN; and MCD Innovations, McKinney, TX, with headquarters in Wichita, KS. In addition to the Marvair products, Airxcel, Inc. manufactures a variety of specialty HVAC equipment and related appliances for recreation vehicles, and other markets under the well-known brands Coleman(r)-Mach(r), Suburban, Marvair and Maxxair.
