South Georgia Technical College officials traveled to Atlanta to participate in the Crisp County 32nd annual Atlanta Legislative Fish Fry at the Georgia Freight Deport in Atlanta recently.
The fish fry is sponsored by the Cordele City Commission, the Crisp County Board of Commissioners, the Crisp County Power Commission, the Cordele-Crisp County Chamber of Commerce and the Cordele-Crisp County Fish Fry cooking team.
Crisp County community leaders and officials traveled to Atlanta to meet, greet, and eat with Georgia legislators as part of the annual Fish Fry.
South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford and his wife, Barbara, along with SGTC Dean of Enrollment Management for the SGTC Crisp County Center Julie Partain, and SGTC Business and Industry Director for the SGTC Crisp County campus Michelle McGowan represented the college at the event.
South Georgia Technical College and other community and educational organizations participated and set up community displays to inform legislators about the opportunities available in the Crisp County area.
