The South Georgia Technical College Student Government Association (SGA) recently held a meeting on the SGTC campus in Americus. The SGA is composed of student representatives from different program areas.
At the recent meeting led by Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs and SGA advisor Josh Curtin, the first order of business was to elect officers for the 2022-2023 academic year. After a brief nominating process, a vote was held and the following officers were elected: Brandon Price, President; Anna Rees, Vice President; Montavious Angry, Secretary; Jy’mia Fann, Parliamentarian; and Makayla McCant, Reporter.
The Student Government Association will plan events for students on campus as well as community service events using funds from the activity fee paid by every SGTC student.
