Johnston helped led the Jets to an 11 – 5 GCAA record and a 14 – 10 overall performance this season.  He was selected to the NJCAA All-Tournament team after he led the Jets in scoring in the NJCAA Region 17 quarterfinal game against Southern Crescent Technical College.  The Jets won 69 – 68 and Johnston had 18 points, three rebounds, six assists and six steals in that game.
