Jason Simon-Pena, a Firefighter/EMSP student, took first place in the South Georgia Technical College Intramural Super Smash Bros Tournament on Nintendo WII U and then he and Zach Draper, an Aviation Maintenance student, teamed up to take first place in the doubles’ competition.

The tournament was sponsored by the SGTC Student Affairs department and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Josh Curtin.  The event was held in the SGTC Hicks Hall game room on the Americus campus and was open to all SGTC students.

The first-place winners were presented with a JETS Intramural Champions t-shirt and allowed bragging rights.  Since Jason Simon-Pena won two t-shirts for the singles and doubles competition, he shared a shirt with finalist Jacob Groesch, a welding student.
