The South Georgia Technical College Crisp County Center admissions department participated in the National Night Out 2019 event recently at the Community Clubhouse in Cordele for a night of free family fun hosted by the Cordele Police Department.
Kari Bodrey, SGTC Crisp County Center Admissions Coordinator, and Desiray Kenney, an SGTC Accounting Degree student, who is also the Student Government Association President and a Georgia Student Government Association state officer, set up a table at the event.
The National Night Out event was hosted by the Cordele Police Department and included representatives from different agencies, organizations, and businesses. Individuals were treated to free hot dogs, safety demonstrations, soft drinks, and there were games including space walk bouncy house and a dunking booths. Free School supplies were also distributed and there were emergency vehicles on display.
South Georgia Technical College is currently registering students for Fall Semester. A registration/orientation day is set for Monday, April 12th in Cordele and Americus. Students can attend sessions at 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Cordele and 9:30, 1:30, and 5 p.m. in Americus. Classes start August 13th but students can apply, enroll, and register in one day.
