South Georgia Tech Summer Semester Registration Scheduled for April 17

Posted on

South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) will hold a Summer semester registration event on Wednesday, April 17 for new and returning students on both campuses. Orientation sessions will be held for new students at 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the Americus campus and at 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the Cordele campus to accommodate for different schedules.

The Summer semester begins on May 23 and lasts just eight weeks. The shortened semester serves as an opportunity for students to get ahead or catch up on classes.

During the event, students will have the opportunity to meet with their advisor, register for classes, attend an orientation session, have an SGTC ID card made and receive help with their financial aid. A separate information session for parents will be held for those who attend.

Individuals who are interested in applying to the college are also encouraged to attend the event and take advantage of SGTC’s one-stop admissions process, which allows students to apply, enroll and register in the same day. The admissions office will be on hand to help applicants fill out their applications.

For more information about the registration event, contact the admissions office at 229-931-2760 (Americus) or 229-271-4051 (Cordele).

South Georgia Tech offers over 200 associate degree, diploma and technical certificate of credit programs.
