South Georgia Technical College sponsors free Car Show

South Georgia Technical College will be sponsoring the inaugural SGTC Father’s Day Car Show on Saturday, June 15th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in front of Gailey Park on the South Georgia Technical College Americus campus.

   Admission is free and lunch will be provided. First, second, and third place prizes for Best in Show, Old from 1900 to 1993, Best in Show, New from 1994 to Present, and Best Paint Job will be awarded.

   Everyone is invited to attend. For more information, contact SGTC High Performance Engines/ Motorsports Instructor Kevin Beaver at 229-931-2578.

   There will also be individuals available to share information about the over 200 associate degree, diploma, and technical certificate of credit programs offered at South Georgia Technical College. The college is currently accepting applications for Fall Semester which begins August 13th. A registration and preview day session will be held on Wednesday, July 17th on both the Americus and Crisp County campuses. The preview event will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on July 17th and registration will be held at 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. in Americus and at 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the Crisp County campus.
