Make your summer count! South Georgia Technical College is encouraging students to sign up now for a special eight-week Summer Semester session. Students can apply, test and enroll in one day. Official registration is planned for Wednesday, May 22nd on both the Americus and the Crisp County Center campuses.
Registration and orientation will begin at 9:30 a.m., 1:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the Americus campus in Hicks Hall. Registration and orientation on the Crisp County Center campus will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. in rooms A3 and A4. Classes begin Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 on both campuses.
There are currently over 200 associate degree, diploma, or technical certificate of credit opportunities available at South Georgia Technical College. New Hope grant and federal financial aid changes may mean greater financial aid opportunities for many students.
The HOPE Career grant provides additional funding over the HOPE Grant from the Governor’s Office for Commercial Truck Driving, Air Conditioning Technology, Automotive Technology, Aviation Maintenance, Avionics, Diesel Equipment Technology, Early Childhood Care and Education, Electrical Systems Technology, Electronics, Networking Specialist, Industrial Systems Technology, Precision Machining & Manufacturing, Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy, Practical Nursing and Welding. This opportunity for students who qualify, make now a great time to begin or re-enroll and complete a college education.
