South Georgia Technical College recently welcomed 46 Furlow Charter School fifth-grade students for a tour of SGTC programs that align with their science standards. The students visited aviation maintenance, aircraft structural, precision manufacturing, and industrial electrical systems. Nearly 250 individuals earned the right to be recognized at the South Georgia Technical College’s Fall 2022 commencement ceremony Thursday, December 8th at 6 p.m. in the James S. Zackary Mincey of Buena Vista has been chosen to represent South Georgia Technical College as this year’s nominee for the Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) award presented annually by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Phenix City, AL - The 7th place National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) nationally ranked South Georgia Technical College Lady Jets traveled to Phenix City, AL recently and took a 71 – 63 victory over Chattahoochee Valley Community College.    This was the Lady Jets 10th consecutive win this season and it put them at 10 – 1 overall.  They are also tied for first place in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) conference with a 3 – 0 record.  East Georgia...
