Fire Behavior & Combustion FRSC 1115
3 CreditsThis course provides an understanding of the basic principles of fire chemistry, the processes of fire/combustion, and fire behavior. It addresses theoretical concepts, explaining their importance, and illustrates how they can be applied in a practical manner when responding to emergency situations. An emphasis is placed on safety, with each explanation drawing a connection between how a fire behaves and how it affects the safety of the individual firefighters and their team.
