SGTC Math Instructor Kim Miller Retires

The Crisp County Center of South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) recently held a reception to honor Kim Miller, who is retiring after more than 27 years of service to the college. Lady Jets Take Down Georgia Highlands

The South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Lady Jets continued their strong start to the season with a dominant 87-65 win over the Lady Chargers of Georgia Highlands College. Jets Fall to College of Central Florida

South Georgia Technical College came up short in a matchup that pitted the Jets against the Patriots of the College of Central Florida. In a hard-fought game, the Patriots prevailed 85-73. Students at South Georgia Technical College in Americus and Cordele will be on Thanksgiving break November 25-29. There will be no classes those days. Employees also have the opportunity to schedule annual leave November 25-27 in addition to the Thanksgiving Holiday November 28-29.



Lady Jets Move to 2-0 in Conference Play

The South Georgia Technical College Lady Jets defeated the Andrew College Lady Tigers 93-70 on November 16. The victory pushed the Lady Jets record to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. The South Georgia Technical College Jets basketball team split their two games in the first annual Pete Arrington Classic in Americus.
