South Georgia Technical College recently donated nearly $700 worth of holiday gifts to Clark’s Christmas Kids, a statewide initiative that collects presents for children in Georgia’s foster care system. This year, SGTC sponsored six children, purchasing gifts from their individual wish lists to help ensure they experience the joy and magic of the holiday season.

Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs Josh Curtin personally delivered the donations to the Clark’s Christmas Kids collection site in Atlanta. The effort was part of SGTC’s broader mission to serve not only its students but also the community and state through acts of kindness and service.

“This is a small way we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of children who deserve to feel valued and celebrated during the holidays,” said Curtin. “We’re proud to support such an important cause.”

The Clark’s Christmas Kids program is a longtime partnership between WSB-TV, the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), and radio host Clark Howard. South Georgia Tech’s participation reflects the college’s commitment to giving back and fostering a spirit of generosity.
