The South Georgia Technical College Student Government Association (SGA) held its first meeting of the academic year recently on the Americus campus. The meeting, led by Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs Josh Curtin, focused on electing officers and outlining plans for student activities and initiatives in the coming year.
During the meeting, members elected Jesse Cadenhead as president, Cheyenne Wiggins as vice president, A’Neya Mack as secretary, Tayla Brantley as reporter and Mikayla Sanders as housing representative.
The group discussed goals for enhancing student life on both campuses, increasing participation in events, and strengthening communication between students and administration. Additional meetings and activity announcements will be shared with the student body throughout the semester.
