South Georgia Technical College is offering several opportunities for prospective nursing students to take the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) test in the coming weeks. Dates and times are set for both the Americus and Cordele campuses.
The TEAS test is a standardized, multiple choice entrance exam for students interested in applying for the SGTC Practical Nursing program.
In Americus, testing will take place in the testing lab on the second floor of the Odom Center. The dates and times are: Wednesday, March 6, at 9:00 a.m.; Thursday, March 7, at 1:00 p.m.; Tuesday, March 19, at 1:00 p.m.; Wednesday, March 20, at 9:00 a.m.; Tuesday, April 2, at 1:00 p.m.; Wednesday, April 3, at 9:00 a.m.; Wednesday, April 17, at 1:00 p.m.; Thursday, April 18, at 9:00 a.m.; Tuesday, May 1, at 1:00 p.m.; Tuesday, May 14, at 1:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, May 15, at 9:00 a.m.
Testing in Cordele will take place in the testing lab at the SGTC Crisp County Center. The dates and times are: Tuesday, March 12, at 9:00 a.m.; Thursday, March 21, at 1:00 p.m.; Wednesday, March 27, at 9:00 a.m.; Thursday, April 4, at 1:00 p.m.; Tuesday, April 16, at 9:00 a.m.; Thursday, April 18, at 1:00 p.m.; Tuesday, April 30, at 9:00 a.m.; Thursday, May 9, at 9:00 a.m.; Tuesday, May 14, at 1:00 p.m.; and Thursday, May 30, at 9:00 a.m.
