The HEDST Associate Degree Program is a two-year program, where participants alternate between periods of class work and on-the-job work experience at the student’s sponsoring Caterpillar dealership. MetroPower

SGTC works with MetroPower in training welding and electrical construction workers through a cooperative education workforce development program that gives students an opportunity to earn income with MetroPower while earning a diploma at SGTC.
