SGTC Career Services to host Job Fair November 1

  South Georgia Technical College’s (SGTC) Career Services Department will host a Job Fair on the SGTC Americus campus in the John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center on Tuesday, November 1 from 1pm-6pm. Over 20 area employers will be on site to talk to job seekers about career opportunities. Cynthia Carter, SGTC Director of Career Services, has been organizing the event, and SGTC students as well as any job seekers in the area are encouraged to attend. Businesses who will participate in the job fair include the following: McLane Food Service, Americus Police Department, Helena Industries, Flex-Tec, Macon State Prison, Middle Flint Behavioral Healthcare, Hamilton Relay, Pruitt Health Hospice, TSG Resolute Manufacturing Co., Waffle House, Trident Refit Facility, Walgreens, Paxen Learning, Department of Juvenile Justice, Innovative Senior Solutions, PharmaCentra, Magnolia Manor, Southern Point Staffing, BrightView Landscaping, Jay & Jay Health Care Agency, Georgia State Patrol Post #34, and the Georgia Department of Labor (Americus). Job applicants are encouraged to dress for success and bring several copies of updated resumes. The event is free to all job seekers.
