SGTC Students Design "Lucky Bamboo" Arrangements

Posted on

The SGTC Office of Student Affairs held a "Lucky Bamboo" activity recently on the Americus campus for students returning for fall semester. Participants had the opportunity to create their own unique, decorative bamboo arrangements they can use to spruce up their living spaces and, according to tradition, bring good fortune.

Supplies for the activity were provided for the participants. Josh Curtin, SGTC Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs, demonstrated how to assemble the bamboo arrangements.

The South Georgia Technical College Office of Student Affairs offers a wide variety of activities on campus each semester to keep students engaged and provide them with the complete college experience.
