Representative Patty Stinson meets with SGTC President

State Representative Patty Stinson of Butler visited South Georgia Technical College and President Dr. John Watford to talk with college officials about current opportunities, challenges, and priorities for the upcoming legislative session.

Stinson has served in the Georgia House of Representatives since 2013 and represents District 150. Nearly 60,000 residents reside in her district which includes parts of Sumter, Macon, Dooly, Peach and Taylor Counties. South Georgia Technical College has a seven-county service area which includes three of the counties in Stinson’s district, Sumter, Macon, and Taylor counties.

Rep. Stinson is currently a member of the Agriculture & Consumer Affairs, Appropriations, Health, Higher Education, Rural Development, Special Committee on Resource Management, and Ways & Means committees. She is also the Vice Chair of the State Planning & Community Affairs committee.
