Moultrie, GA – South Georgia Technical College in Americus was one of the over 1,200 vendors who took part and set up an exhibit at the 2024 Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie. Large numbers of individuals, high school students, and business and industry leaders were on hand this year for the 47th anniversary show situated on a 100-acre site over three days.
“This is a wonderful event to be able to showcase our college and our programs of study,” said South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford. “We look forward to participating in this event every year, because we know that many of the students who visit the Expo are students who want to gain the technical skills needed to work with their hands and their minds. South Georgia Technical College has partnerships with Caterpillar, John Deere, Georgia Power, and Delta and many others. This is a great place for us to recruit individuals that want to work in careers offered by these Fortune 100 and 500 companies.”
