The Lady Jets are riding a three-game winning streak and are currently tied for first place in the GCAA with East Georgia State College with identical 7 – 2 conference records. She averaged 32.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and three steals in three conference wins for the Lady Jets last week.

She is only the second Lady Jet to be selected for this honor. Her teammate, Taja Bennett was recognized as the GCAA Player of the Week three times in four weeks for January 5th, 12th, and 26th. Joining these two Lady Jets in garnering this honor this season were Matt Mbole and Jalexs Ewing.

Matt Mbole, sophomore center, was selected as the Men’s GCAA Division I Player of the Week for the week of February 2nd and Jalexs Ewing, sophomore guard, was the first Jets player to be selected for this honor for the week of November 10th.

Fans have the opportunity to see these players in action this week. The Jets and Lady Jets host South Georgia State College and the Southern Crescent Lady Tigers on Wednesday, February 18th. The Lady Jets play at 5:30 p.m. and the men will play at 7:30. Both teams will be at home on Saturday, February 21st in a double-header against Andrew College. Games begin at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
