South Georgia Technical College recently partnered with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS) to host the Southwest Georgia Community Strong Fall Resource Fair on the Americus campus. Held in the James S. Peters Gymnasium, the event brought together a wide range of local businesses, service agencies, and community organizations for a day centered on workforce development, networking, and support services.

Open to students and members of the broader community, the fair featured a variety of valuable resources—including job opportunities, health and wellness information, and educational pathways. Attendees engaged with representatives from numerous participating organizations and took advantage of on-the-spot services and career-building connections.

The event also included live entertainment, raffle prizes, and giveaways, creating an energetic and welcoming environment that encouraged both learning and engagement.
