Microsoft Network Administrator (MS11)  Technical Certificate of Credit

The Microsoft Network Service Technician certificate provides training in Microsoft networking. This certificate will prepare the student for an entry-level computer networking position. Skills taught include implementation of Microsoft operating systems, implementation of Microsoft servers, and networking.

Entrance date: Each semester

Program Admission Requirements: A High School diploma or equivalent is required plus achievement of appropriate scores on the college's placement test or submission of acceptable SAT or ACT scores.

Applicant must be at least 16 years of age.

Prerequisite: CIST 1401

Provides the ability to implement, administrator, and troubleshoot Windows Professional Client as a desktop operating system in any network environment.

Prerequisite: CIST 2413

Provides students with knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure, manage, support and administer Windows Server. Topics include server deployment, server management, monitor and maintain servers, application and data provisioning, and business continuity and high availability.

This course prepares students with the founational knowledge of cloud services using Microsoft Azure. Areas covered in the class include basic knowledge of cloud services, a knowledge of data concepts, using them on the Clud and how they are implemented using Microsoft Azure.

Provides students with knowledge and skills necessary to serve, manage, support and and administer a Microfoft network infrastructure both locally and thru Azure. Prepares students to take te Microsoft AZ801 certification exam.
