SGTC PBL Celebrates Season of Giving Success with Partnering Organizations

Before South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) closed its campuses in response to concerns about the COVID-19 virus, the Americus Campus Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) at SGTC completed its 6th Annual Season of Giving initiative. Former SGTC Jet Dawan Bass named All-American Honorable Mention at Edward Waters

    Former South Georgia Technical College guard Dawan Bass of Baltimore, Maryland was selected as an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention for his play on the court as a member of the Edward Waters College Tigers.    In just one season in Purple & Orange, Bass led the Tigers in scoring, averaging 14.86 points per game, which was also 10th in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.  He also led Edward Waters in rebounds per contest, averaging just under five boards per game.  His season high...
